The curricular and co-curricular activities contribute to overall personality development. This approach has yielded positive results. The students have taken initiatives in organizing number of activities with lot of enthusiasm like:
a) Fresher’s Welcome Day.
b) Annual Day cum Farewell to 3rd year Students.
c) Teachers Day on 5th September.
d) World Tourism Day on 27th September.
e) Full fledged Chef Club is in operation in the Institute.
f) Flag hoisting ceremony took place on Republic Day and Independence Day at the Institute Campus.
g) Saraswati Puja and Lord Vishwakarma Puja were also celebrated in the Institute.
h) The Institute is priviledge to be a part of the official functions of Govt. of Assam to mark various days of National & State importance by providing required trained manpower to look after VIP services. The same arrangement as and asked for are also being done for the official functions to mark Independence Day and Republic Day.
i) Students have been selected for the Commonwealth Games which will be held this year in New Delhi.

• Conduct training program for personnel of various Central, State & P.S.U’s e.g. Assam Tourism, CRPF, Indian Railways, Indian Airlines, IOC & many Private Hotels.
• Handling Govt. VIP parties during Independence Day and Republic Day programs regularly with active participation of students and staff.
