Practical presentation and emphasis on nutritional values is a significant aspect of the technical training given to the students.

The Institute was initially located at Bhangagarh of Guwahati and shifted to its own and present location at VIP Road, Upper Hengrabari,Borbari,Guwahati 781036 in April, 2006.
